FAPs for UK Servicemen and women
Want to
help with an FAP project?
Want something fun, constructive and creative to do??
Make FAPs which will be sent to cheer up and support
UK servicemen and women serving in Iraq
A registered charity
in UK (non-political!) called
Support Our Soldiers
www.supportoursoldiers.co.uk
provide support for our
serving men and women and their families at home.
One way they do this is by sending out parcels and care packages.
And I thought - hey! It would be so NEAT to send FAPs!
I contacted Karen at Support Our Soldiers (SOS) who was delighted with
the idea.
Can you help too????
We need
to make as many as possible as SOS send thousands of packages.
You can either send them to me and I will send them to SOS in batches, or send
them direct..
This is nothing to do with any political party and
in no way either condones or condemns their presence in a different country to
our own.
It
is EVERYTHING to do with lads and lassies being a LONG way from home and away
from their families.
This will be an on-going project throughout the year,
with special focus being given to times such as Easter and Christmas.
You can make themed FAPs - or ones that
suit any time.
It's entirely up to you!
Even if you have never made these before - they really are easy to do - and
great fun!
